New York property firm lands in Dallas with new office

The Dallas Morning News is reporting that Madison Realty Capital has opened an office in the Texas city, marking the firm’s expansion into a third state as part of its strategic national growth strategy. The New York-based debt investment firm has invested $12 billion in real estate deals across the country since it was founded over a decade ago, and a recent focus in Texas spurred the firm to open an office in Dallas. Madison Realty Capital recently provided a $32.5 million loan to JMJ Development for the Turtle Creek development site, which will include a condo tower and a Mandarin Oriental Hotel. "Madison Realty Capital has closed several transactions in Texas in recent years and will continue to pursue opportunities in markets throughout the state,” said Josh Zegen, MRC Managing Principal and Co-Founder. “Our Dallas office will allow MRC to serve key markets in the greater Texas area as part of our broader national expansion.”
