Adam Spies serves as Newmark’s Co-Head of U.S. Capital Markets. A real estate veteran of more than two decades, Spies and his industry-leading team have been involved in most of the world’s largest, highest-profile and record-setting transactions over the last three decades. 

Known nationally as top capital markets leaders, Spies and his partner Doug Harmon ranked #1 in capital markets in New York for 2022, closing nearly $5.7 billion.

Based in Newmark’s headquarters in New York, Spies joined the company in 2023 from Cushman & Wakefield, where he served as Chairman of Capital Markets. Prior, Spies and Harmon were the top capital markets team at Eastdil Secured.

Nathan Berman is the Founder and CEO of Metro Loft Developers. Nathan has over 26 years of experience successfully converting buildings from commercial to residential use in lower Manhattan, having developed over 5 million square feet.

Nathan personally oversees the vision and implementation of each project, both from a design and a financial perspective. He works closely with the development and construction management teams to guide the process from acquisition to completion.

Nathan prides himself in taking part in the improvement of the city’s urban living experience through creative solutions in adaptive reuse.

MaryAnne Gilmartin is the founder and CEO of MAG Partners, a women-owned real estate development company she founded in 2020.

A prominent New York developer, she previously served as President and CEO of Forest City Ratner Companies, where she spearheaded iconic projects including Barclays Center, The New York Times Building, and New York by Gehry.

She currently oversees a $1 billion development pipeline with MAG Partners, including residential projects in Manhattan and the massive 235-acre Baltimore Peninsula masterplan development in partnership with major institutional investors.
