Commercial Observer reported that Madison Newbond originated a $79.3 million refinancing loan for the JW Marriott Marquis Miami hotel in Downtown Miami. The borrowers are a joint venture between MetLife Investment Management and MDM Group. The 357-key hotel at 255 Biscayne Boulevard Way is a 41-story property built in 2010 within the Met Square complex. The hotel underwent a $16 million renovation in 2023 and features amenities including a pool, spa, fitness center and ballroom.
